In 2001, Prince Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev of Nepal (far left) got drunk at a royal dinner and massacred, among others, everyone in this photo, committing patricide, siblicide and regicide. He walked to a small bridge over a stream that ran through the palace, where he shot himself in the head. He reigned as king for three days while he lingered in a coma.
